TT / TTB - Lathe for pipes

High-output horizontal lathe range for pipe threading, either PREMIUM, API or GOST.

Main features:

• Head structure with built-in speed changes so that the rpm range at full power is established according to the pipe range of the customer.
• The vertical bed design (TTB) provides maximum accessibility to all items that need frequent changing or setting, thus reducing set-up times to a minimum.
• Recirculating roller system in guides, offering a high degree of accuracy and rigidity.
• High rates of inherent and operational availability.
• Automatic tool change.

All models are available with 4-axes working simultaneously, thus considerably reducing cycle times. During the machining and threading process, the head rotates together with the pipe, while the tool remains static, allowing an optimal chip evacuation during the turning and threading processes.

These lathes for pipe machining can be equipped with different handling systems, thus converting the assembly in a turnkey solution for the customer. DANOBAT has developed its own loading-unloading systems, chatter suppression system (Chatter Killer^©) and centring systems.
