We bought this pump to replace one in a tabletop water fountain whose motor burned out when we left it on long after the water was used up, causing the motor to burn out. This new motor works just fine; however, for reasons unknown to us, the rotating color display that had previously existed on the fountain now only shows the red color. Why I do not know. But, at least the fountain now works.
