| In recent years the sewage treatment industry
has demanded improved equipments, technology and new applications. E.I.M
has responded by introducing submersible motors with a closed-loop cooling
system which can be run continuously in dry pits. One example is a submersible pump with a dischange diameter of 350 mm and a 48kW submersible motor with a closed-loop cooling system supplied to the Kougasaki sewage treatment plant in Kitakyushu City, Japan. The closed-loop cooling system uses clean water as the coolant, which circulates through the closed-cooling circuit.The cooling circuit is never clogged by foreign substances. This ensures long and stable pump unit operation. |
